Gabourey Sidibe Directorial Debut and how proud I was to work on it.

Inspired by Nina Simone’s song “Four Women,” the film tells the overlapping stories of four neighbors who are connected through their quest for love, agency, justice, and redemption. Beast editor Dean Gonzalez worked closely with Sidibe during pre-production to establish the framing of particular shots and the best way to incorporate specific effects in post.

It was a real pleasure to work with Gabourey on this. This is a strong Directorial debut, and I have no doubt this will be the first of many. Once again the Combo of Dean Gonzalez of Beast and Tyler Roth of Company 3 compliment the film to make it shine.

Let's Play Two! Pearl Jam and the Cubs!

I had the opportunity to be a small piece of a much larger project. This has been a labor of love for the many people attached to this for over a year. It is fantastic to see the love of Pearl Jam for the Cubs and at the same time, the ride for which the Cubs had winning the Series. Check this out if you get a chance. I would like to personally thank Mark Anderson for letting me touch his baby. He had a lot of long nights with assistants Beth Cantafio and Jason Kerman. A bit shout out to the editor as well, Dean Gonzalez worked his ass off making this a fun film to watch and be apart of.

Last week we had our company party. It was an amazing time with friends and clients. As always, we brought the house down with a perfect band. The One and Only PPL MVR.

Cinema 4d Lighting and Animation Test

Took a model from 3Dgenerator and created a nice mountain range in cinema 4D. Did my own lighting, DOF, motion blur, and animation to create this nice little starting piece. No flame or Color was done. Hope to add a pass of that later.

This is my first blog post. Because it is my first, it will be short and sweet. Enjoy my page :)
